I like the idea of not attaching the prosthetics directly on to the stubs. It implies that the body just does not cope with such powerful limbs and the engineers made a clever roundabout by attaching them to the back in an effort to save an unneeded replacement of the entire body.

Hey thanks for noticing, yeah the prosthetics aren't just meant to be an extension of the missing arm but a better more powerful alternative ^^Β

However frightening we may look to you, we want to protect you...
This reminds me of the policewomen and -men; that job is tough and they deserve our respect and sustain. Other than that, I love those designs, the futuristic feel of it all. And.... I don't think we're too far away from that, if I take into account how medicine is progressing in this field.

These ladies n gent are definitely not here to protect, just to dehumanise and kill ^^ Thanks, I was trying to get a more believable feel to the designs!Β

Sorry for replying late.
Oh, so we've got dangerous soldiers here. Anyway, I love your cyberpunk designs to bits.
So powerful, they embody what I look for in SF. However, I don't think of the genre as a dystopical vision,
just a critical view of where humanity is going.

Makes me think of characters in the Blame! series. (I will be impressed if anyone gets that reference.)

I'm getting that vibe too. Fellow Blame! reader here. The guy on the right makes me think of Akira and Ghost in the Shell though.Β

Good to see another reader of a slightly more obscure series
I remember hearing the name of the series in a joke list, which included reading the entire series in one sitting without coffee, and understanding the plot first time round.
It wasn't as hard as they made it out to be.

lol, well I certainly didn't read it in one go.Β
Don't think there's a whole lot to the plot, but I guess it can seem confusing if you overthink it.
The world was fantastic though. So much to see and wonder about.Β

With a manga especially...if it really catches my interest, I will just go with it.
Overall there is actually a fair amount to get your head around in that series, but it's pretty open about things, even with overthinking. As a sci-fi writer I habitually overthink how something would work, but all that led to was me working out how to make Sanakan work in reality.
It actually got me into megastructure-styled games as a whole, because I love the idea of exploring such a vast place, purpose unknown.

I thought exactly the same with the megastructure in games. Would be awesome.Β
