This was a GREAT mini-series! John Larroquette and Ed O'Neill working together makes a lot of sense.

Absolutely beautiful... They could've used this for the sequel's cover art if they'd ever made it.

I just re-watched 10th Kingdom. It's as amazing as I remembered it. Love the painting! Beautiful colors and very unique setting with New York underneath the fairytale land.

I like a lot the colours. I always find difficult creating new tones when working with shadows too.
By the way, I think that not much people knows that the image of the castle they used for this promotional pic belongs to a REAL castle... ItΒ΄s called the AlcΓ‘zar of Segovia. "AlcΓ‘zar" means"castle", and the city where it is is in Segovia. Search for some photos, itΒ΄s THAT place

Thanks - course I don't mind - I only wish I had a better image of it - Next time I paint it I will take better photographs - or even scan it

Oh, I remember watching this on TV! I loved it. *o*
And this- this is gorgeous. And hand-painted?! You have talent.
I would definantly buy this if it were a print.

This is simply beautiful, I love it! I love the bright colors and the soft textures that you used. Did you paint this or is it digital? Beautiful work!

Thanks!! Its handpainted - my first attempt at doing anything like that in a 'fine art' style. I've redone the painting since for someone with a much bolder sky which I'm not sure about, though the castle itself was much more refined the second time around.
I have had a request to paint Hogwarts, which I might try and paint in a similar style.
I was proud of this one at the time - but it is 2 years old now so I'm actually liking it less!

I think you should definitely paint Hogwarts, that would be awesome! Also, are you selling prints of this? Or what about selling the original? If so, how much would you be asking for it?
Thanks!

I hadn't thought of setting it up as a print - though I would have to try and scan it somehow as the photo I've taken just isn't good enough!
The original belongs to my partner but I have painted it again for someone as a commission. It costs around Β£100 due to the time it takes.
But yes, thanks for reminding me of the 'rints' option. Good idea!
