It's actually true, what keep him living? The only person he ever really loved, Lilly is gone. It's interesting that when Harry and his friends were almost at the end of their fight and mission to defeat Voldemort, he died. It's like he had a purpose of preparing them to fight Voldemort and when he was finished he finally found peace.

I know right! I was surprised the other day though when I was on facebook. I get pottermore posts and they have these little things where if you like one character you click 'like' and if you like another you comment. One day they had 'like' for Snape and 'comment' for Harry. Someone was flabbergasted that Snape was winning. They said they hate Snape and couldn't see why anyone liked him, let alone enough to be more popular than Harry. I mean seriously is it really that shocking that other people have a differing opinion.

Scary, sad, and even compelling. I think many of us sometimes know how seductive Death, or the idea of Death, can be. Seeing Severus contemplate it is very in character for him. This is really a lovely piece. The colours are perfect. I don't see how you can make this any better than you already have.
