Yay, fall!
I was actually a little chilly sleepin' last night. :V
Backgrounds are a pain, man. I'm still not entirely sure how to construct them.
I don't like working with a lot of layers.

The usual tip from the books I read is that you construct the perspective and eye level first, then everything else.
A lot of work to do, apparently, but now, you know, at least.

I just always feel like merging all my layers together. ;_;

Cool. Ideally, my current model of work is:
Total: 6 layers. I merge some when I'm satisfied with the state of the work, but that took me practice.
Or did I misunderstand the problem?
P.S.: Yes, I'm actually learning from this discussion, too. ._.
