Gonna give a little constructive criticism on this...

The shoulders of may and ash are too wide and their bodies lack curvature (ash looks like a cardboard cuttout, no offense lol)...

Itll be nice if theres some shading though..

Anyways, ill stop here since i myself will be joining the competition...

Idk man, i don't feel that your choice of software is the main reason of the flaws...

I mean, i got friends who use MS paint and are able to make really good art out of it.

I feel that you need more anatomy practice on pencil and paper before you move on to digital...
