Description After drawing a sketch of Daikaiju Academy poster girl Gina, I decided to color it, doing my best to duplicate the original colors from other deviations.I also took the a chance and did something that I've never really done before... I did my best to shade it. This is the first time I ever shaded anything in my life, let alone on the computer. I would appreciate any feedback on my shading.

Gina's [an acronym for Godzilla Inspired Naked Anthromorph] origins are very similar to the famous kaiju she is based on. Godzilla was the first true giant monster to appear on film, and no one can say the word giant monster without envoking the image of the mighty King of the Monsters demolishing downtown Tokyo, breathing his radioactive fire breath. And like Godzilla, Gina was the start of a unique spin off of the kaiju franchise that I'd like to think has earned as much popularity in its own little corner of the kaiju fan community as the original monster who inspired it.

The New Year is coming in about...ten hours, and I feel that my fan-pic of Gina, the original kaiju girl, will be a fitting start to the New Year.

Happy New Year!!!
Note: The men who were responsible for Gina's creation are listed beside her, please click on image to inlarge. Gina was first created as a poster girl for the webcomic Twisted Kaiju Theater, and has since moved on to her current home of Daikaiju Academy.

...i would have added the text in with an actual text option, instead of writing it in like that.

mostly because my handwriting is just as bad.

Just think? If it wasn't for the creater of Gina. the idea for the dragon wouldn't exist.

Yah. If it wasn't for him, the idea for Kaiju Garu Shima wouldn't exist either!
