Another conceptual sketch for the Legendary GINA that'll be starring in DkA: ReEmergence. This is a full body test, blending the original design of GINA [which was based on the Godzilla 2000 design] and the new 2014 design of Godzilla.First off, I like this design quite a bit, though I can already see a problem, in that the scales remind me way too much of King Caesar, and the two kaiju girls based off of him, Cessy and Cecelia. And I don't like the tail, which looked good on Godzilla [kind of a mix of his classic, banded tail and that of both a crocodile and one of those lizards with the spiky plated tails, can't remember what they're called] but doesn't look quite right here on her.
Overall, this is a step in the right direction for my reimagining project, kind of eager to see how other people feel about GINA's updated design?

lol You should have made her a little heavy-set, as a nod to all those complaints about the Legendary Godzilla "being too fat".

I've already seen an example of that, which isn't really my style... and besides, Godzilla ain't fat to begin with, those people are just a bunch of hypocrites, because the only really fat Godzilla's are the ones from the original movies, especially the Heisei era!

I totally agree with you. If anything, I think the misconception that this Godzilla is fat comes from his hunched-over stance. I think it makes his mass more noticeable, or something.

Plus the feet... first thing I thought when seeing them, is that they're way too fat for his body, even though biologically it makes sense to have thick legs to support the mass of his immense body!
