Description
Sadly Quarians never made it into Mass Effect Andromeda as far as the game goes and I always wondered how BioWare would have approached them. With a bit of imagination, and not a lot of frustration and work in and out of Blender, I have my rendition of what I think a Quarian could have been in the game. What I did was take the Salarian Pathfinder's armor, remove the chest, cut off the shins, and add Quarian shins. After that, I aligned the spine to match the human's as best as I could. From there I extracted the HyperGuardian's torso, and Jaal's cape and from there retexture all the other armors to fit as best as possible.Credit goes to the follow XPS/Xnalara authors who posted their Quarian and Salarian models respectively.

I liked all the new clothing styles in Andromeda. It offered a lot of potential for how quarians could decorate their environment suits. I was looking forward to seeing that.

Judging by the way BioWare implemented the Batarians into MEA, I’ve always assumed they’d have reused the Anagaran armors in some form. Either that or just update the meshes to have a higher vertice count. Either way after reading the new book about the Quarian Ark, we can only hope if they do Andromeda 2 like it’s been rumored, we’ll have more answers.

That is definitely a unique looking Quarian. I was going to ask if it was from ME: A, but your description answered that for me. Nicely done!
And, since this shot was taken just outside of Vault 101, I am going to guess you are running A Tale of Two Wastelands?

TTW is necessary for me to even play FO3 since for some reason my computer rejects it completely when it starts up. And honestly I like TTW than having them separate. Though i’d Honestly like to be able to use the FO3 version of 3DNPC but that’s not possible at the moment.
The Quarian’s more of a P.O.C. than anything at this point. I’m toying with the idea of making him into a companion like that custom companion like that female one I saw floating on the Network, doubly so since I already have experience doing Quarian voices for MER. Nothing set in stone just yet.

Just out of curiosity, did you make the necessary adjustments to your Fallout 3 ini file, so it will work on a multi-core cpu, and/or make the game Large Address Aware (able to use up to 4Gb of RAM)?

I couldn’t tell you for certain. I believe I I did but if I remember correctly it was Windows 10 being an issue as to why FO3 never worked. New Vegas did and TTW seemed a lazier option in the long run.

I know that Win 10 caused lots of issues for people trying to play FO3, but for myself, it is not an issue. I just finished playing FO3 on my Win 10 machine, for about 3 hours, with only minor stuttering, and one crash. Mind you, I did adjust my Fallout 3 ini file to take into account a multi-core processor, and made the game Large Address Aware. New Vegas was configured to deal with multi-core systems, "right out of the box".
