I was really artblocked and just decided to do thisAlways a fan of Henrietta so I decided to redraw the grayscale faceshot of her I did back in 2011, I HOPE I DID HER MORE JUSTICE THIS TIME AROUND..... Also I'm very lazy with hairs now

2014 all the way- it may just be me talking but I notice people as they improve tend to know how to streamline a feature and still convey the same message- you save time and effort and still get a nice result. Β I appreciate the technical skill of 2011 but really love the expressiveness of 2014- both are beautiful!! <333

They are both amazing however I like the 2011 one a little more. The one from 2011 has realistic hair and a really cute face.

The new one definitely shows that you have improved. The strokes are much more well defined and thought out and overall the lines show confidence. The old one isn't bad though; there is a lot there that made it work - specifically your contrast. That's the only thing the new one lacks for me. Although the new lighting is much (and i mean MUCH) better and feels very natural, I miss the hard contrast balance you had in your old work.
Either way this is an awesome meme

yeah, you've definitely improved! The newest one is softer with the skin tone and has a more realistic lip shading and shape, just the overal shape of the face features are better looking and I like the way you did the hair for the 2014 version, keep it up!

The old one looks smoother and shaded better, the new one looks rather choppy and square in my opinion. The first is just more appealing overall.Β

Lol, the hair might look like a bit of a deprovement... however the skin and the features look much better then the original work... The highlights stand out more and the blending is much neater :3
