An extra for SaandStoorm ’s Windswept's 2023 Opening Bash,Welcome one and all! I am very excited to bring to you the first show that Windswept Acres has hosted in years. We have done some revamping and cannot wait to have you all on our grounds to celebrate the opening of 2023. The theme of this show is enjoyment and new beginnings. It is overall a lighthearted event featuring both traditional Western and English classes as well as some fun classes!This show is intended to be upbeat, happy, and feel like a party.The event is set the weekend of January 6-8 of 2023; full of hope, revival, and starry-eyed dreams.We strongly encourage you, your horses, and your riders to step out of your comfort zone just a little and play. We love to see your dressage horses in a western saddle, your rodeo cowboys taking on a show jumping course, and the little kids parading their ponies in the ring. Of course, if you want to show your horse and rider pair in their absolute element, that’s amazing too! I HAD to draw stormy and her kiddo and alma with hers! And of course the kids pony’s! Which let me tell you I had to redraw both ponies because I forgot for a second that they were ponies and not horses 😅 either way I’m super proud of this!
