I'd like #Unum-Veriitas to have this in honour of the various 'novellisations' [link] of the cult British TV series, The Prisoner, in which Patrick McGoohan played the obdurately unforthcoming 'Number 6' in 'The Viilagge', which turned out to be the quaint north Wales seaside town of Port Meirion. [link] .

The best of the 'Prisoner' novels is arguably this one, by Thomas M. Disch: [link] . A quote from the article linked to - "It is fair to say that The Prisoner is one of the greatest television programs of all time, if not the greatest. It would be hard to repeat it or follow it, and many people are nervous about the in-production remake due out in 2009."
