Actually, this one is Fractal Explorer. At one point I was using it as my avatar because of the blue glow.

Thank you. That's the madness behind my avatar. I was changing them monthly with my images and people like this one so much I got yelled at when I went to the next one. Now it's a permanent fixture to me. Glad you like the creation that started it.

Very cool! The effect (don't know what you call it), on the sides makes me think of the desert, like how the sand turns into waves then into dunes, while the symmetrical-ness reminds me of an insect eye. The middle, makes me think you may be looking head on at some sort of mouth. I really like this piece.

Thanks. I did several different color schemes and only blue and red worked. Brown didn't come out right, so I never was able to do the desert sands thing. I think the center looks like a mouth also.

I made this using a program called Fractal Explorer. It took some work and a lot of patience, but I finally got the color and vibrancy the right way. Tomorrow I'm going to upload another piece that has this as the main part.
