Aristaeus - serving Mezzanine , a new group that ~Futurology and I made, check it out!This was made at 1680x1050 (same ratio as 1440x900), so if you want to use it as a wallpaper click Download for the full size.
Used Cinema 4D R11.5 and Photoshop 7.0; roughly 10-15 hours of work.

This is absolutely fantastic. It actually looks real with the shadows and reflections underneath. It really reminds me of the classic mech anime series (thinking bubblegum crisis specifically or akira). Phenomenal and most definitely a 
Also, I really like the background schematic because it helps to keep the attention on the bike/ mech but adds just a small touch of detail that really shows how hard you worked on this image.

Thanks, and yeah. I considered doing it at print size, but the last time I did that my computer lagged so much it wasn't much fun :/ and that's why I do this stuff.

I was just curious as to what size certain people create in. I stopped creating in screen resolution over 6 years ago because of the prints program here on DA. Most of my stuff now is standard 30x20" 300dpi. My computer is about 5 years old and on some of my newer pieces it's really starting to show it's age.
