"You’ll find him, Shepard."
"I know." Confident as she was, she sounded far away, deep in thought. Garrus made a noise in his throat, a wordless question. Shepard watched the horses in the corral for a few moments before she spoke.
"He won’t win. We’ll get him." She narrowed her eyes. "Sometimes I wonder if I make the right choices, if I won’t end up becoming the thing that I hunt."
Garrus was silent a moment, “Well. That’s why you have us.”
Shepard looked over at him with a fond smile. “You got me there.”

Heh. I have this askwesternshakarian blog on tumblr and I've got parts of the story planned out, and this scene popped in my head so it's kinda out of place. Anyways, Shepard is gathering a posse to take down Saren, which leads into Cerberus and The Reapers (two massive gangs, lol, western gangs idk), and she feels she's been looking into the abyss a little too often tracking these people down. Garrus is reassuring her that even if she is, her friends (i.e., the Normandy crew) will pull her back and make sure she's okay.
Basically it's my Olivia Shepard expressing how she felt during the actual game, just in the context of my western AU. And she's at a point in her relationship with Garrus where she lets down her walls and expresses her fears with him. Huge trust deal, yo.

My fics are worse, I have this one where he gets her pregnant with twin hybrids. One appears more human and vice versa. And their daughter is a pain for Garrus cause she's free spirited but his son is a real chip off the old block ^^

I was literally at work imagining it one day, his daughter is human and she is as beautiful as her mother, but her hair is as silver as her Turian fathers. She's free spirited and vocal, but can be a daddy's girl. And his son Garrus Jr. well he's soo much like his father, perhaps a bit more shy. But he looks up to him so much XD I'm such a nerd,w hat is wrong with me XD

I kinda just said fuck it with the whole biology thing, thats the green ending happened but for whatever reason Shepard survived and that just life happened. Thats the whole point of fan fictions anyway ^^ Though I'd bet they'd have some lovely krogan babies to raise as well ^^
