You can play as male or female Revan in the first KOTOR, and you can choose from a variety of faces for each. This is the Revan I played as in that game.

The version of Revan we played was mind-wiped, the personality we had was what we created along the way - we could be anything. Unfortunately, the person Revan was before the Jedi mind-wiped him/her eventually came back to the fore. The nightmares of what happened on Dromund Kaas - what was going to happen in just a few centuries - pretty much did in whatever chance 'our' Revan had at being a 'good' person. At living a normal life. Don't see how any of that should ruin a good bit of head-canon though ^-^

I chose to play a female Revan too, in fact my Jedi Knight is named after her (hm, maybe I should label her as The Second?), I never got his reasoning either.
It's also hilarious how Lord Scourge fucked up when he did what he did, considering that the Jedi Knight is canonically Light Sided and that Revan spares no expenses with in order to defeat the Emperor.

FemRev uses the mind-reprogram trick, and reprograms some random jedi to think that he is Revan, then runs off with Carth to live out the rest of her life in peace.

Hearing everyone's responses to this scene made me kinda glad I never got around to playing KOTOR. (I do plan to remedy that; picked up the games recently!)
I do think it was a mistake to nail down a player character like that. What was wrong with using one of the npcs from KOTOR? All it did was piss everyone off! It'd be like seeing 'your' warden in Dragon Age.

The title of that strip was "Alternative Transponder Ship," so that was an alternative scenario and not my actual head canon--I say so in the caption text under that strip.Β You can consider it a "deleted scene," the same as my Deleted Scene strip--in terms of the storyline of the rest of the comics, it never happened, it was just an interesting alternative that I thought of.Β That's why that strip is placed after the ending of my actual head canon version of that scene.
