Description
In case you haven't noticed yet, springs and water in general play an important role in my story, "Testament". This spring in particular is sacred and also the royal tomb. It's my first environmental painting as well. Had a hella time trying to get my values right but I guess this is fine. I have a lot of improving to do but this is the first step, doing it and having fun.Edit: Well the DD was unexpected! Thank you `SylwiaTelari for the suggestion and ^Gwendolyn12 for the feature. Thank you as well to everyone that views, comments or favorites this piece. Nothing honors me more than being able to make something others can appreciate as much as I do.

This is beautiful. *__*
I love that landscape and the details you put into it (those small waterfalls in the background, the shading on the rocks... *^*), but I like even more the way you used colours!
The red crystals make such a good contrast with the blue in the surrounding environment~
(The only thing I don't like much are the white borders around the picture, but that's mostly a matter of personal taste. ^^" )

I try as hard as I can. I'm just not as good as some other people I know. And why does your icon remind me of sushi? It makes me hungry. *hasn't had any food all day*

It's not about being as good as others, it's about you're own personal level of satisfaction. If you find yourself comparing your skill to others and being depressed by it then you must harness those feelings and use them to push you forward. I don't believe anyone is better than anyone else because where they may fail in one area they have talent in another. Whats the use in having skill if you have no imagination? But I can't motivate you to try harder, that's up to you, I can only tell you that once upon a time all the artists you admire were at your level. As for my icon it's actually an onigiri so that's kinda close to sushi lol!

Your words do motivate me. I couldn't have said it better myself *smiles* I normally try as hard as I can when it comes to art work and such but the only downside it that I can't really draw all to well and I use a mouse so it doesn't really help me in the end. Though still, your icon is adorable!
