I saw this first in the little squares at the right side of the page and thought it might be something like a Caspar David Friedrich painting of a ruined church in the mist. the girl with the only red and white in the picture wonderfully counters the stone animals looking down at her. just a wonderful image.

I like the way the stone lions seem to be looking at the girl, who in turn gives a sense of scale to the scene. Nice one.

holy kami! this is truly a beautiful work. I love how the green, blues, whites and browns blend so well. the contrasts aren't even fighting at all.
infact the contrast looks peaceful. its mysterious without being too creepy. how the green colours anchor everything.
the girl looks like she was just playing by a river and saw something and followed it. and found something that was beyond her knowledge.
