Haha... It's painting as it says in the title but u can believe anything you want to be fair, I have a series of reference photos maybe around 5 or 7 from my stock. Not to be copied exactly but more as a reference for taking the emotion from the eyes, taking posture from a hand, the texture of the cloth. I also try to pose my own hand in front of a mirror and then painting it as I go to study the light. Now as for my reference photos, they're all Nikon D90 but for this one, if it is a photo, you will find camera information on the right side like the shutter speed, type of camera ... etc. you'll find that in here there is none of that

I bet you've seen stuff here in DA waaaaaay better than this one and more realistic, you just wait for them to move. I still have my brush strokes obvious. Glad you like my work

Yep... I use instant so I won't feel guilty having to waste good coffee... And I also try not to drink coffee while working

it's been years since I had done a proper portrait... like more than 5 years, maybe even ten. But if you had it in you, it will never leave. It's just need to be fine tuned

Thank you for adding my work in your group! I did accept and visited your group. I found your group really interesting. I found some good stocks too I am still having trouble doing hands to be honest... Took a long time to finish the hand for this one and doing a lot of hand poses... but joining your group, it seems I'm compelled I'd be doing that more... Good motivation
