Nope... I thought amigo is Spanish though. Now I don't speak Spanish but a lot of Spanish words had gotten in Filipino (language) we usually use Amiga for female friends and Amigo for males

Salamat in Filipino is 'thank you' or 'thanks' other languages have that word but with different meaning. I think in Malaysia or Indonesia it's more like a greeting or welcome. But all in all it's a positive word for most languages
