The contrast between the icy object + surroundings and the hot illumination is striking. Reminds me of the silent light of a lantern in the snowy winter landscape.

My first thought was that he had a wing on an angel on his arms.. he tried to save a falling angel but he couldnt.. yup im kind of deppressed

wow , I'm not sure if it has a clear meaning - the warm colors of the figure emphasize a living spirit and seems placed against what strikes me as a winter night sky although I guess it could just be a generic night sky . Maybe the cold depths of space ? I can't guess what the crystalline object is . I guess a being in an reality contemplating that reality .
