Description
For use inAtalo is a young Riolu from Arthipron, hearing stories about the kingdom of Aether and becoming curious, he snuck out of town in a merchant's cart hiding between his wares. Atalo has as his name suggests a youthful demeanor, he does occasionally misbehave, doesn't always think things through and sometimes seems to think he's capable of doing more than he actually can.
He and his friends overheard others talk about people coming from and heading to what most knew to be an abandoned ruined city, even their leader; Lord Pausanius, had gone there briefly. That place, with enough stories and rumors surrounding it's past and present to keep most people away, and was even believed by many to be haunted, people who were living there were up to no good was whispered.
Talking about it with his friends Atalo wanted to prove his bravery and capabilities by going there to investigate.
But it turns out he gets more than he bargained for.
He wears a simple Chiton, with sandals and a gold necklace.
(simple description since he's a small NPC, but if there is more info you think is needed or just want to know more about a certain aspect feel free to comment and ask, I will add it then.)
(Also personal question, I already got some good advice and opinions of some members, but could you please tell me what you think of the shading style I used (can be positive and/or negative)? This particular shading style and colors will probably only be used for NPC apps I make for the group (since I prefer a different kind of shading, with multiple colors depending on light/background/bodycolor myself) and I'm still experimenting with it so please let me know what you think, or if you have any tips/hints those are always welcome ;D)

Yep people seemed to think that ^^ That's because a lot of people though Riolu was one of my favorite pokemon, and that was because I used to have a Riolu character, however I don't really like Riolus that much in particular, there about a 100 I like more, it was only because of one of the mystery dungeon games that I played that I chose that species.
Gengar, however, is one of my favorite pokemon ;DΒ

Lol the person that suggested the particular thing wanted a Riolu, I didn't choose the species nor will I use him as my character, in fact it might be a surprise but I don't even like Riolus that much, I only had Aurio be a Riolu at that time because that was the pokemon I got at my recent mystery dungeon quiz thing from the games, there are at least a 100 pokemon I like more, probably even more XDΒ

Lol I don't really have a particular drawing style in general, but I'm glad you like the style I did this app in as I am experimenting with it and am planning to use it for further special/mission NPCs app I make for the group (I've tried flat colors before with the Minotauros, but I wanted to make the drawing less 2 dimensional this time).Β
Thanks, I love designing characters and clothing, I tried to not get carried away with details with the latter due to him being a very minor mission based character, a simply Chiton with sandals and a gold patterned necklace seemed to do the trick for this one ^^
I'll update the description of him later once I upload the mini mission's journal.Β

Thanks for the compliment!Β I really appreciate it!Β As I said earlier, I am SO glad that this style decided to show up.Β It's a classic for any group or game, and this is no exception.Β Although, if I may offer a suggestion, maybe, for those who are more interested, give them a little more instead of the "go after the criminal" quest.Β (In other words, motives, etc.)Β I'll be putting up an example soon, since my story regarding the criminal hunt will head off into a big Treasure room quest.Β For example, a CLASSIC 007 scene.Β Capture/kill the criminal, learn his ties to other criminals, gather intelligence, stop other criminals.Β (You can tell I've played many video games and know quite a bit about making a small quest turn into a full-scale operation XD).Β

Lol I play a lot of videogames too so I love plots/quests that tie into each other.
This one is the first of the wanted posters though so we wanted to start a bit small to get people started, so we went for a more straightforward approach. People who want to do more with it can do so of course.
The cases will begin separated, but we will introduce more heavy criminals, some which are connected to each other and/or a whole organisation, as we progress. We didn't want to start of too dark though, but as the plot advances, and everything turns a more serious tune, so will the wanted posters.Β
There will be all kinds of different criminals and cases in the future, so it won't always be a simple catch the criminal, though the criminal must of course always be caught in the end ;D
The motives of this criminal are pretty simple, and believe me it was extremely hard for me not to write a whole background and origin story for this one but we were supposed to start small

Ah, okay.Β Yeah, I know what you mean.Β The "initial quests" so to speak.Β Β And kidnapping children isn't exactly considered a "small crime" haha.Β But compared to other criminals, yeah, this will definitely be interesting to look at.Β I'm looking forward to seeing more of these missions!Β Thanks!Β

Some people did burglary behests already and the person who suggested the kidnapping case wanted it to be a kidnapping case :3
Dalias's dialogue in the journal is the mission suggestion that was send to us with a note, though I tweaked it so that it was addressed to the people and not to Alaric himself.Β
I only added some info on the sides, like creating Atalo out of the fact he wanted the child that was kidnapped to be a Riolu and creating a Misdreavus out of the fact he wanted the kidnapper to be a ghost type, finally I added some info to the two of them to make things more interesting.Β
