Personality:
Cecil is a bit of an enigma. There is little known about him, as there aren’t many who have spent significant amounts of time with him. He much prefers to spend time alone in nature and away from crowded, busy places. As a blind ‘mon, Cecil uses his aura to navigate his surroundings - but constant use gives him headaches, and the more ‘mons around, the more tired he becomes. Thus, in order to save himself a painful experience (and general awkwardness), Cecil keeps his distance, and blends into the shadows. He has a strong survival instinct, and can spend months in the wild with no initial provisions - these are essential skills for the tracking and spying that he does for the guild. Those who do spend time with him know him to be a calm, brave, humble ‘mon who is passionate about justice, and relies on skill and resourcefulness over strength in a fight. Regardless, he doesn’t go looking for fights, - not only for his blindness, but also due to his paralyzed right arm - and, should you really get to know him, you’ll learn that Cecil is actually quite friendly, tactful, even philosophic. But on average, Cecil isn’t exactly a happy ‘mon, and usually gives off a sad air around him even if he is smiling.
History:
Like many of the guild members, Cecil’s past is shrouded in mystery. One thing that is clear, however, is that he was not born blind. From inferenced clues, it appears that he was blinded from an ‘experiment’ gone horribly wrong - it might explain why he avoids Mindaugas like the plague. The same experiment might have also been the cause for his badly-damaged right arm, immobile to the point of paralyzation. He will never say how these injuries occurred, and perhaps that makes him suspicious, but Bál trusts him: they have been working with each other for a long time, and seem to work well together, so maybe that’s good enough to sway any mistrust about Cecil’s unwillingness to divulge his history.
