This is an illustration of an experiment from the realm of quantum physics, showing something so small and so abstract that it could never be seen in reality.

So.. in a nutshell, it shows a super-state of matter called Bose-Einstein-Condensate, a cloud consisting of small amount of subatomic particles. While being dropped onto a sensor, the particles are being divided into two grops of different states. The aim of the experiment is to find out, how many of the particles of the different states are entangled with each other. ...or so I am not a scientist

Maybe you heard of the quantum entanglement, a spooky interaction between particles, which happens to exist, no matter how far the distance is between them. For me, the existence of this fact is mind blowing, and an indication that the world, deep inside it's workings, is connected more than we could ever see or imagine, that there is definitely something monumental, waiting to be discovered! ..Science is great
