Description
I'm having fun converting fantasy tropes into (hopefully) cute preds. To go with Garnet, I have this yet unnamed Mimic Girl. So far, the only name I have is 'Mimi', and you guys gave me trouble over naming my Arcanine girl Arc so. Blah.ΒShe's adorable, but super shy so when someone is approaching ,she transforms into an inconspicuous treasure chest. She happily devours those foolish enough to open her tho.
A peculiar magical creature, non-organic material is actually absorbed into her body through her stomach, so all of an adventurers gear becomes one with her. She's able to produce anything she absorbed at will by pulling it back through her stomach lining and coughing it up. :3
Erm...Not that you'd want to do it to such an adorable girl, but slicing open her gut with a powerful enough magic weapon will forcefully produce all the items she's absorbed, spilling out of the wound.
EDIT:Β
Her name is Mimi and she's now in color.

It would be funny if she was a loot box eating EA's employees.

I'll be honest this inspired me to make a mimic OC though mine is more the I won't hurt you unless you try to hurt me first kind of character but she isn't scared of eating someone.

Finally someone who's not into vore that DOESN'T sit here and type things like "Why would you make this you freak?" or anything like that! Congrats on being respectful, and for the record.. we know we're weird.. but can't help it so I'm fine with you calling us that..

Late to this party but this children is why you must not looking in every chest ...epecially if a) it is in mimic territory or b) in a room full of chest or c) in combination of the two above

Ever since I came across Mimi, I've developed an interest in Mimics and wanted to come up with my own mimic OC.Β Mimi is as cute as she is deadly and I love it.

She is cute though. ^.^

I'm curious on what happens to the Adventurer's that also end up in her stomach. Do they end up getting digested along with the loot by chance, or via proxy share the same fate as the treasure?

Digested, while the loot is absorbed.

This is a good concept for a mimic, one that I don't think has been explored before (at least, far as I know). And the thought of cutting her open does seem mean.

Oh that's clever! It looks like her dress morphs into the base of the chest, while the rest of her hides inside!

out of curiosity, do you happen to know the Monster Girls Encyclopedia? 'cause you've been making OCs based on those monsters recently.

I know OF it, but I have been making these based on common fantasy monster tropes. Β Just like they have. Β So I have no doubt there are similarities.

Love this girl's idea and having a normal body type outside of the box is great, too!
Mimi sounds just fine!

....now assuming she's eaten a metric Crapton of stuff....would slicing open her gut cause these items/contents to erupt with sufficient force to cause personal harm?
