Well, Kerris isn't exactly the most puritan of individuals to begin with....  

Her twin sister gave her over to Dark Eldar slavers in order to be the sole family heir when they were teenagers. Kerris grew up being tortured and put back together again in one of their cities.  While there, she met Wrafe, who was also basically a prisoner because his Kabal had been overthrown by the one now in charge.

They found something in common in their desire for revenge, and eventually worked together to escape. Kerris killed her sister and took back her place as heir to the Warrant of Trade.

She and Wrafe don't see each other much these days, but when they do there is certainly an unhealthy attraction between their twisted souls. They're never together long without fighting, because he believes she is his property (he stole her from the other Dark Eldar fair and square!), and she finds that incredibly insulting since she is now a Rogue Trader.
