Description
A girl. In a winter coat. Hair style: Like mine, but I don't have cow licks. I'm also not that skinny and I wear glasses.
So it's symbolic of me and not symbolic of me at the same time. 
I mainly drew this because I was experimenting with flowers and big, billowy, shoujo-type clothes!
The flowers turned out okay, I guess. I wish I woulda drawn more of them though. And yes, Emily, her hood is big! 
I guess.... any suggestions about drawing flowers?

Flowers eh? Well hate to say this but you tryed too hard with 'em... looking at pictures of lillys or the like might help I know it's helped me. Since Lillies look a bit wispy and delicate try not to use such harsh strokes on them. ^_^ An if they don't look quite right that's fine! They'll look more.... right I guess like that... you also might want to try using some shading on them too.

I understand what you're saying. I was just attempting. I get the whole part about lightening the lines and shading. I'll ahve to try harder to make them look more delicate next time I run an attempt... However, I did do a small bit with some shading on the redo of this piece: [link]

sorry, couldn't resist...ahem...yes, well, i like i like...the flowers almost look like orchids...maybe you should try roses sometime? it helps to look off stuff i think, but hey, whatever

I like this one, and yes the hood is big but maybe thats just some hidden symbolism you didn't even realize you'd put in? I dont know why she's crying though. It seems like everyone in that high school is crying anymore 
Oh with the flowers you could try putting some veins in them or hmm not sure I guess. The flowers weren't suppose to be the focus so its okay that they weren't drawn with as much detail. It would detract from the picture if you had big elaborate flowers in the drawling. (or I think it would at least)
