Description I swear I can't tell where to put anything anymore.
So this was a piece I started a while back but just finished recently. A katazome print of a quetzal that I did on silk. The calligraphy says something along the lines of "One Mayan legend states that the bird used to sing beautifully before the Spanish Inquisition and shan't sing again until the land is truly free".

This was mostly a practice piece to get back into using katazome as well as using it on a larger scale. I was also comparing the process on silk vs cotton ([link] ).
