Alviiiiiiiiiiiis~ Oh hey, Xenoblade fanart again. Somehow I won't stop producing xDAnd yeah, Alvis is my favourite character (aside from Shulk)
(I think he's rather attractive 
)In my opinion he needs WAY more love and fanart, considering how important he is (can this already be counted as spoiler?? I think now that they make a remake of XC everybody needs to be careful with that kind of thing again, considering that Xenoblade spoilers are MASSIVE o.o)
I never imagined it could turn out THAT good, but yeah, it kinda did *______* (But this wasn't done without reference from a screenshot I took from one of the actual cutscenes... hehe xD)
This is the first huge pic I did without using outlines, also I painted on one layer all the time, I wanted to test my skills ^^

Beautiful Artwork for one of the most Underappreciated characters [At least in terms of fanart] in Xenoblade.

Alvis' role in the game was one of the most mysterious ones, if you ask me...
I knew something was up with him almost from his very introduction, but I never expected something like this!
Also, the whole game over, I was super certain his key necklace would have some deeper meaning, but it kinda was never mentioned any closer... Quite a pity, actually
As for your drawing... It looks amazing! I'd never be brave enough to draw only on one layer, so props to you for this

Ja, definitiv, er ist so ein cooler Chara, ich liebe mysteriöse Charaktere fast immer am meisten^^
Ich war auch ziemlich baff als am Ende der große Reveal kam! Tja...
Jaaa, gut dass du das erwähnst, mittlerweile hab ich das schon wieder völlig verdrängt, aber am Anfang hab ich mich auch ständig gefragt welche krasse Bedeutung wohl der Schlüssel haben wird. Ich bin aber der Meinung dass man als Spieler das selber ein wenig interpretieren darf, und ich für meinen Teil sehe es so dass Alvis quasi in seiner Position der Schlüssel für die ganze Handlung und die Welt ist ^^
Und vielen Dank! ^^ das ist wirklich hin und wieder mal ne ziemlich gute Übung zumal ich ja auch oft mal "traditionell" male ^^

Alvis wird zwar niemals höher als Shulk auf meiner "Lieblingscharaktere-aus-Xenoblade-Liste" kommen, aber er ist definitiv ein unglaublich interessanter Charakter!
Das ist eine gute Idee, das hab ich mir dann im Endeffekt auch gedacht, dass der Schlüssel einfach metaphorisch für Alvis selbst steht...

This is probably one of the most interesting pieces of Xenoblade fanart I've seen here so far. Most of the other fanart, while amazing, doesn't capture the essence of the game since they usually use their own art style, but the use of a reference in this work has allowed to perfectly capture the feel of the original game. I love it!

I suddenly got an idea in my head that since Alvis is the station's computer given form, I can't help but think the original name was Artificial Lifeform Virtual Intelligence System or ALVIS. That's just me being me though.

Ah, Alvis. He intrigued me from the start. He and Dickson both kept me guessing the whole way through (not mentioning anymore, just in case anyone reading this hasn't finished the game). Even his voice, soft spoken and well dictated, kept me glued to the screen when he deigned to make an appearance.
I like the shiny, multicolor feel to this, and the glow of the eyes. It's beautiful.
