Gee, you really take a whole lot of consideration when it comes to art! So many reasons for even a different thickness of paper, never actually thought of it that way ^-^ Glad you opened my eyes!

Watercolor? Hey, one look at your art and anyone would know that you'd make an exceptional watercolor artist ;D Mostly, it involves knowing your color combinations (in which case you seem pretty good at XD), then it's what kind of brushes and paper thickness and stuff like that. I for one, will definitely support you if you're gonna go for watercolor ^w^

Word of advice, use papers 200 gsm or above even though you're just an amateur ;D the higher the better, but of course, the prize goes higher as well /w\

I took a look at the sketch and it's very good. It's really hard to point out any errors here. The poses and expressions are great, the shades match colors very well. And the necklace is really well drawn, it really looks 3D. If I had to point out anything maybe Sweeties horn looks kind of flat here. In this slightly turned head view it probably should be slightly angled forward and not as wide. Also you added shadows under Buttons chin and left hoof but not anywhere else, but I don't know if you intended to add shadows at all. Also if you want to keep with show style the eyelashes should probably be more spaced out. All in all it's really well made art piece and I'm looking forward to seeing more from you

Ahhhh your right! The horn, how did I not see that! As for the shading, I simply dont have enough practice and ill pay it more mind next time. Good tip regarding the eyelashes, ill also keep that in mind next time.

Chciałam jeszccze spytać, jakiego papieru używasz i ile średnio zajmuje Ci taki rysunek?

Używam szkicownika Winsor & Newton 50ark. o gramaturze 170gr ale może być ciężko go dostać, ja musiałem ostatnio sprowadzać go z Anglii bo żaden sklep w Polsce nie miał ich na stanie. Wybrałem ten bo papier jest w nim bardzo gładki i na tyle solidny że nie strony nie odkształcają się nawet pod dużym naciskiem. Niestety z papieru potrafią wyłazić włókna przy rysowaniu drobnych szczegółów ostrym i twardym ołówkiem. Typowy rysunek na całą stronę zajmuje mi od 20 do 40 godzin.

Niestety styl jaki sobie stworzyłem wymaga bardzo dużej precyzji i zajmuje to sporo czasu. Pewnie z czasem uda mi się wyćwiczyć i szybciej rysować
