EDIT: I originally had Azula looking sad, however, *SkyWarrior108 imaged her being angry so I changed it to fit what Sky had in mind about Azula.

It's just... canon!Azula is angry, and such, but near to never sad, so I liked that part.
But I agree, as a fanart for your story, sad Azula for now is the more canon one...

It's a mixture of sadness and anger that she's feeling in this scene. I had hoped to get that across with the "bitter laugh" and the "angrily wiping away tears" part.
