Description With apologies to all artists involved!

Just got back from vacation yesterday (which thankfully was a good one), and got back to work with art. I didn't have too much inspiration during, but I do have a good stockpile of pics that need to be worked on, and I wanted this one to lead off! What was originally just an idea to have the resident ditzes of AM & my casts, it soon evolved into May and Candy, joined by Hay's Emiko painting some fun parodies of the standby classic paintings that get parodied often (and one recent artistic mishap that came into light recently, sorry for picking Paunch to represent that, Ben! ) with some of our active cartoonist buds around here.

I'm always a fan of letting art take me places like these, and it's great to pick up those friends I interact with here often to go along for the ride. Sure enough, one of my fave experiments here was the Mona Lisa background, I never really did fuzzy-style airbrush painting like that.

The Mona Lisa, the Scream, American Gothic and Ecce Mono/Ecce Homo Revision belong to their respective artists. The OCs (Bubble & Bobbin, Flyer, Emiko, Katherine, Paunch & May) belong to respectively. Candy and the artwork belong to me.

Dig the cameos, with both the paintings and painters. Candy and May seem like they'd get along. Is Candy painting Flyer in The Scream? Awesome.

Great picture with some cool classic art references. I love when comic artists draw panels parodying classic works of art - it gives the reader a sign that the author considers him an educated man XD

Hahahaha, this is awesome and brilliant. I love the concept a lot! XD You're also getting much better at digital colouring; it definitely shows here. The same could apply for how you draw backgrounds. Excellent composition!

Backgrounds are probably my most raw work in progress right now, but digital coloring is still being worked on as well. I really do appreciate the kind words nonetheless, it helps to see where I've done something right. Thanks!

I kid, it's great in it's own right! Who knew that three airheads had a talent for painting? It's always the same with those types, they always suprise others with a super secret ability that no-one knows they have.

I enoyed seeing the preview to this one as well! I like how you managed to fit a lot of references into what seems a no cluttered picture. I also like the polished wood-style BG. A nicely coloured and fun picture, but nothing will match the true genius of the Monkey/Potato Head Christ!

Thanks a lot, AM! The bg was a bit of toggling around with GIMP once again, so that was a pleasant surprise! Either way, I was happy to feature a good number of my current fave artists in a rather small pic like this.

Quite the artistic concept indeed! Love the artist gear on these three, and Emiko just looks precious there with that tell-tale face. Genius character cameos here as well, taking off their respective famous paintings in style - Flyer's "Scream" is him to a T!
