Description

I am saddened to say that my grandmother was put into hospice care this weekend. Due to a number of factors, I am unable to visit or say goodbye, which has gutted me. She was one of the earliest people to encourage me to take up drawing, and I made sure to pay that back with drawing up a number of pics for her over the years for many different special occasions. I can only pray that she can see this where she is and knows that I can't thank her enough for everything she's done these past decades. Thank you, Gram. I love you, and I won't ever forget you.

I wanted to pay tribute, as she greatly enjoyed my car and retro character pics when I was able to show them to her. I can only hope this serves as a fitting finale for her to enjoy. She owned a 1961 Chevy Bel Air like this when my dad was a kid, so I thought it'd be a good time to try that one out.

Edit: Sadly, I've learned that my grandmother has passed away. Seeing the time stamp on my picture here, this was up one hour prior to her passing. I'd like to think she saw it before she left. God bless you, Gram.
