Description
Moving right along with this month's project, I decided to include Artimus and Livingston in the mix this time as the evil fiends they were truly meant to be in this tribute to the 80s!The town of Ingaloo is plagued with a series of gruesome deaths, and they soon realize the haunted apparition of the town's former zookeeper and his rampaging rhino are to blame. Don't let him turn you into the next exhibit, burn run to your local movie theaters to see ZOOKEEPER this Halloween!
Ingaloo Zoo and its characters belong to me. So does the artwork.

I know this is a mock movie poster from last year, but the black shadow backdrop and dim colored lighting does give the feel of a old slasher movie poster.

Yeah, the color and lighting were what I wanted to focus on, and the slasher genre just provided ample examples of inspiration there.

Hahah, another excellent poster, this time with a really good job on the eerie lighting, it's very sinister.
I also like - and I don't know if this is deliberate - the fact that at first glance it looks like Artimus is holding up a bloody knife but a second glance reveals that it's an even more dangerous weapon!

Funny enough, the double-visual did not come about until I was shading the horn around Livingston's glowing eyes. Thankfully I caught it before posting and added it in!
