Description
One of my more outlandish creations: The Wormhole. Wormholes are a species of heavily genetically-modified organisms, composed of thousands of different creatures. They come from a world were humans are heavily dependent on fossil fuels. The Wormholes supply humans with an organic form of time travel. They produce a "wormhole" allowing time and space to become warped. When organic-matter, such as trees, enter this "hole", millions of years are condensed into a single second. As many millions of years pass inside the "hole", the organic-matter fossilizes and over time results in the production of coal and other fossil fuels. These fossil fuel products time-travel back to one second after they entered the Wormhole, exiting on the other side of the Wormhole; creating a "renewable" way to obtain fossil fuels.
