That was a hell of workshop... we've been shooting inside a hot-air balloon!
How cool is that

This photo is my favourite from the insideBALLOON series.
Rather a medium close up, so trading the especial balloon background for more details and the dramatic expression in Kim's & Tessa's faces and the great composition and posing of both of them.

Thank you Tessa & Kim, you made this shooting real fun and you are amazing models!

WOW!!!

I'm so happy and touched... my insideBALLOON - V received a Daily Deviation... and in addition to that, it's my very first DD ever
You can't imagine how much this means to, today I'm gonna be smiling all day long.
Thank you so much for this kind feedback and encouragement!

I was so excited as I joined this project, and I had kind of an "inner cinema" immediately as we discussed the details.
When we got the "go" for the shooting I was excited like a child.
And being inside the balloon was overwhelming - it was an almost dream-like situation... so intense colours everywhere, the loud and noisy fan, the fabric of the balloon cover all around, you completely forget the outside world, it's like a giant tent on steroids.

I love the stunning pictures from this set and I was so happy when Queen-Kitty featured me in her "15 Under 15" column, and now it became even a Daily Deviation.
There's something about this picture... after a first quick look-through the photos this one was shining out.
So I printed it, still being on location, with a little and simple Fuji Instax - polaroid like printer as kind of "memory" & "thank you" for both, Tessa and Kim... and at a first glance at the picture their Mum, who was accompanying us, loved it and wanted also one print so bad.

I just want to say how happy I am, again and again!
It's such an important recognition - it encourages me to continue my "photographic-way" and to do my very best, even more!
