I like this explanation more than RiD2015's one. New headcanon now!

The movie left two plot holes. Will Soundwave escape ? And Airachnid is a threat to cybertron due she's infected.

True, but there's possibly another movie that's coming out soon, as seen on IMDB here: www.imdb.com/title/tt3371476/p…

This future movie may or may not clear anything up, but I feel like it could.

Well, this isn't so much a plot hole of the movie, but of the show itself. Neither character had any direct ties to the movie's plot or subplots. Each were put in plot limbo during the events of the series to get them out of the way to serve the plot without directly killing them off. Airachnid is on the moon, yes. Can she escape, maybe. She is a helicopter with a small army of flying bugs after all. As for Soundwave, when the Shadowzone was established, it was shown to be escapable. It can only be assumed that Soundwave has the capability to leave but there's the possibility of him being trapped there too. There, not dead, not affecting the plot any more. I'll get into why below.

Airachnid had to be out of the way because her character was pretty much useless at that point. The writers needed her out of the way so they didn't have to think about her character any more but also leave her with an exciting and more fun end than just letting her rot in a cocoon forever. But, and I'm theorizing here, they probably had already written the season finale and realized she wouldn't fit in anywhere. The end to the episode "Thirst" gave her a good open end that both provided her closure from the story for as long as necessary and gave fans room to imagine that she has possible means of escape.

Soundwave was purposefully taken out of the equation by the kids and Ratchet so that the Autobots could orchestrate the plan to take control of the Nemesis. This is both to get him out of the way for the writers and a legitimate strategy for taking the Decepticons' ship by removing the key players. And yes, this would reasonably stump even the skilled bridge operator Soundwave at least for a time. Either way, if he weren't taken care of the Autobots couldn't have restored Cybertron. Similarly to Airachnid, Soundwave can reasonably get out of his predicament (as I have expanded upon in this little comic) but is also conveniently placed out of the reach of the plot for as long as is needed.

With the movie there's also the issue of character number versus screentime. By the course of the movie, there are seven Autobots and three known living Decepticons with a single Predacon. Well, then there's Megatron/Unicron and the two new Predacons too. That's already a 15-character line-up without Airachnid or Soundwave. Soundwave barely got any screentime in the show as it was, I doubt squeezing him in with fourteen other characters who actually have speaking parts in a tiny two-hour timeslot would help that any. Arcee and Bulkhead, which each had quite a few episodes focused mainly on them throughout the show had such tiny parts in the movie. They were there, but they didn't do a whole lot. Soundwave had about two episodes he was the center of out of the whole series, no I would rather he be conveniently out of the way during the movie than be unimportant. He's simply too major a character. Airachnid too, she is much too important to be ignored when she's right there in context.

In conclusion, (TL;DR VERSION) Soundwave and Airachnid did not deserve death as they could still be utilized by fans; Both had to be out of the way for the plots of the series to continue, giving me doubt that they could be considered true plot holes; and the fact there were already too many characters in the Predacons Rising for everyone to get enough screentime, making it to where either character would be unimportant if they were incorporated into the story.

I am SO SORRY for the wall of text there, I just felt the need to go over how I thought this was the best end for Soundwave and Airachnid while still serving their stories and situations. It's rather late too and I tend to ramble when I'm tired. Predacons Rising was great and I'm actually rather glad they didn't feature Soundwave as the movie wouldn't have done him justice anyway.

So, tell me... I haven`t watched "Predacon Rising" yet. Did SoundWave REALLY escaped from shadow zone?

Unfortunately no, Predacons Rising didn't even make mention of Soundwave. But I wanted to share my headcanons and also to theorize what was happening during the events of the movie.
