Description
One of the eight commission pics I did for a girl named Cassandra. She asked me to illustrate the role playing game she and her friends had played in. Their characters are Hogwarts students who start their Hogwarts studies at the same time as the HP trio does. In this pic you can see Alondra (the girl with brownish hair), Cassandra (the girl next to her with red hair), Magenta (the girl leaning against the fireplace) and Daniel. They found the Room of Requirements in their first year, and this is how the room appeared for them.Related content

Almost all of my pictures are first drawn with graphite pencil, then scanned, and then coloured in PhotoShop 7.0. I use mouse and a Wacom tablet for digital colouring.

The pen, obviously. The mouse is hard to move around, you can't handle it as freely as the pen. With mouse, for example, it's almost impossible to draw flowing hair. With the pen it's easy and fun. You can handle the digital pen as though you were drawing with a pencil. I love it!

Aside from the perspective on the fireplace, this is a refreshing take on Hogwarts because it makes it a more joyful place than I am accustomed to seeing.

The perspective on the fireplace is a little odd though, you shouldn't be able to see that much of the , it should have followed the line of the rug. The same with the base on the knight, it seems just a bit tipped foward.
Overall though, this is pretty good
