Ashley Wilkes and Scarlett O'Hara. I think Scarlett doesn't really resemble Vivien Leigh, but Ashley is all right.I used to have an old version of his pic up here but I thought that the shading was kind blotchy, so I reshaded it a bit.

they look kinda stiff I read that book last summer it actualy took me longish the writting was tiny but well I didn,t have any thing else too read I think its pretty good I can,t do any shading at all on my pics

Wow! It's amazing! I'm reading the book right now...haven't seen the movie yet, even tho we've got it somewheres....and to tell teh truth, I started reading it cuz I'm addicted to the Outsiders too...^_^ But I love it now! I'nm at the part after they get news of the Confederacy's surrender. Personally, I'd prefer Rhett to Ashley anyways, and from what I hear, Ashley ain't that great looking in the movie anyways...o_O Great picture tho! Is it the part where Ashley is leaving for the war after being home for Christmas? Forgive me if I'm wrong...i've never seen the movie...

GASP! thats soo good! i love that part of the movie! and she does kinda look like her, but not that much and ashley looks almost exactly like him. i just saw the movie the other day. but i feel so bad for ashley, having 2 girls afte him lol

From being surrounded by Gone with the Wind stuff (my sisters favourite film/book), I'd have to say I think your Scarlet is really like Vivien Leigh. (I'm not too sure about Ashley, I don't think I ever saw a part of the film with him in) Great stuff!

Oh, yay! I love that book but have never seen the movie. Note to self: get around to watching 'Gone With the Wind". Anyway, I love this! Is it me or is Scarlett's nose just a teeny bit too big? She's beautiful though, and Ashley looks divine!

I know more or less who these two are, despite never seen more than a few scenes from the movie (actually not my cup of tea, I am sorry... ), but the pic catches the atmosphere of it perfectly. My favorite parts are Ashley's hair and the reflections on Scarlett's frock (er,is it called like that...?) What a

I haven't seen the movie yet but I've read the book a few times. Actually, I saw the part when Melanie (it is Melanie, is it not?) dies and a little after but I was laughing so hard my parents kicked me out. It's not funny that Melanie was dying but the way Ashley looked. He was supposed to be cute? His hair was all cowlick-y and curly and I thought he was the epitome of hideous. Rhett was even kind of ugly and I'd imagined him dangerous looking and sexy. But I'd still prefer Rhett Butler (He's my favorite character, so maybe I'm biased) to Ashley Wilkes any day. But your Scarlett is exactly how I imagined her in my head and (I'm guessing because I don't remembrr what Scarlett looks like in the movie) you drew it to a spectacular likeness of the person who played Scarlett (Vivian Leigh?) because everyone else is saying you did.
It's not fair that you have both incredible talent in drawing and writing. *pouts*

Very nice! ("Gone with the Wind" was one of my dad's favorite movies and it drove him crazy that I didn't like it.) I agree that you captured Leslie Howard perfectly. I think the only issue with Vivien Leigh's likeness is that her face is a little short in the chin area. Other than that it looks perfectly like her. Great picture!

Hello!
First, this is a very, very lovely image. I love the mood that is set between them. The only thing I can think of to possibly critique in this image is the fact that the characters don't stand out as much from their background as I think they should. This could possibly be corrected by darkening some of the shadings on the people and working on that, or using a darker outline around them.
Other than that, really really nice work!
