I confess part of the reason I prefer to have Snape take his tea black is that that's how I take mine.
In a way it's a nice bit of irony to have Snape like suger in his tea, though I think Sweet-tooth!Snape is going a bit far. For one thing, if Snape liked sweets in a major way, Dumbledore would always be laughing and twinkling about it, and poor Sev gets enough of that already.
Since your drawing is a (successfully!) funny one, the single cube of sugar is good as a final cap to the rest of the joke.
By the way, is Snape holding an unusually small pot of tea or an oddly-shaped cup? I prefer the cup myself, so he can drink while he's flying along. Nothing in canon say Snape isn't good on a broom. The bucking broom in his memory could have been due to a nasty jinx by one of the Marauders, not a sign of Sev's lack of skill. Our Sev is brilliant at everything!
