This is a really nice shot! I feel that more could have been made of the view outside the window, because the framing does give it a sort of awkward feel. However that's given a different perspective so I applaud you for your creativity. Perhaps you could have had a sharper focus on the view, maybe taking two shots, one in each focus and then merging them together or moving your focus upwards slightly away from the figure and to the background - but other than that I do like this.
