I use GIMP not 100% sure how to lock transparancy or what to move over it with :/ The image isn't transparent to start with :/

This tutorial is very well done. Its simple to understand and not too wordy. And the effect is really cool too! thanks for the tutorial, even if its in Photoshop it works in gimp as well
