Description An assignment for an art class I took over the summer; it's finally in a state that I can share it!

Anyway, the scene and quote are from a lovely book by famed paleontologist Robert Bakker, but with an updated look-- both dinosaur species have an appropriate coat of feathers. We were also supposed to format it as though it were going into a children's book, so... yeah.

Hehe, thank you! It was one of my favorites, and still probably the best dino-centric novel I've ever read. ^^

Updated scenes from Raptor Red, yes! I'd love to see more of these, but only if you're so inclined, of course. Years ago I actually drew a comic of the entire plot of Raptor Red in one of my sketchbooks, with updated designs including feathers and everything, but as I had not yet started looking at anatomy properly it kind of sucked.

Haha, I think if I ever did more they'd be on a much smaller scale; this one was enough trouble on it's own. I also can't wait for Scott Hartman's revised Utahraptor skeletal-- the one he had was good, but I guess there's more going on this animal than initially thought. ^^

Regardless, I'm glad you liked it!

Oh yes, there's that little snag for anyone who wants to restore Utahraptor these days. All we can do is wait for the paper(s) as usual.

Hehe, thank you! Surprisingly they're one of the easier parts to render.
