Star Wars: The Dark Nest Trilogy is a fan comic collection of the Dark Horse Comics comic book adaptations of the novel series of the same name , and the series comprises three volumes: Joiner King, Unseen Queen, and Swarm War. They have an art style, pacing, and highly over-the-top storylines similar to the Star Wars: Clone Wars cartoon series. During their adventures, R2-D2 inadvertently find himself in the edge of memory bank problems, and encounter the holographic scenes of prequel characters from the Revenge of the Sith such as Padmé Amidala, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Anakin Skywalker.
