Based on the 2003 Clone Wars style, Swarm War 3 was the third issue in the Swarm War fan comic series based on the novel The Swarm War.

R2-D2, an little astromech droid and Luke's companion, seems to be functioning once again, but he remained unwilling to show the recordings of Luke's mother, Padmé. Until now, Luke wanted to learn his mother's death when he, along with his wife, Mara Jade, and nephew, Jacen Solo, needed to see the files to help them defeating Lomi Plo. Who knows what would happened if Luke finds out Padme's ultimate fate? Was his own wife Mara responsible for killing his mother, or, in no doubt, his father, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side and became Darth Vader?
