California — 15 million years ago

In my own version, this is the third episode of Walking with Prehistoric Beasts 2. On the open, inland seas of the Pacific Ocean, 15 million years ago, the greatest and the most powerful apex predator was lurking deep beneath the California waters, called the giant-teething shark. Though the popular nickname for short as Megalodon, but scientific name, Carcharocles megalodon, and it is the great equivalent of its distant relative, the great white shark. Being an aquatic ambusher, this monster can take a chuck on everything in its path, even the prehistoric whales.

1) Megatooth Shark (Carcharocles megalodon)

2) Leviathan Whale (Livyatan melvillei)

3) Long-Snouted Dolphin (Eurhinodelphis longirostris)

4) Pseudotooth Seabird (Pelagornis orri)

5) Swan-Necked Seal (Allodesmus kernensis)

6) Killer Walrus (Pelagiarctos thomasi)
