Description
Again sorry for the sudden lack of activity...I haven't been able to draw much lately despite my new class schedule being a lot more loose than the last. I thought I needed to touch up on my environments again so I drew this. Referenced and colour-picked heavily from this photo; undergroundhealthreporter.com/…I think the trees in the background don't look so good, but the reflection effect looks nice. Someday I'll break out of this dependence on reference photos. Someday.

This is really cool! I love how simple it is - it's not too detailed, but it's really beautiful and you were able to capture the scene very well using suggestion rather than tons of detail. It's almost dream-like. Very cool indeed!

Ah this is really pretty. Really like the composition and colors here, as well as that lovely reflection in the water and texture on the rocks.
I don't think it's bad to depend on reference photos, though. No need to depreciate yourself over that. I personally reference from multiple different photos in most of my pieces--no shame in that--especially since that's what pros do, anyways. Even better to do when you're still learning.

Beautiful work!!! There's nothing wrong with depending on refrences! This drawing turned out amazingly!!! The reflection of the trees does, indeed, looks amazing! Wonderful job over all!!!

this looks so great!!! ;;o;;
and hey! we should all depend on references!! references are an artists friend >:U
i mean maybe later getting better at seeing colors and not having to color pick them, then sure you'll get better at that!!
but references are good >v>
