This one's a beuty.... i'm really obsessed with this car... "drools" It's a perfect car. It's too bad that most 86s here in finland are modded for rally or just in bad shape.

That's cool. Is there a lot of places to drift then? Here the rally 86s cost something around β¬20 000 - $25 000, and they can't even be registered.
When i get a decent job, ima buy an 86 or maybe a Sil-80, which would be a one-of-a-kind in finland.

Here in California we don't have a lot of places to drift as cops are everywhere, but usually what we do is find an empty parking lot and go late at night. There's always drift events where you can practice drifts legally in an empty parking lot with cones, which I think is a lot better than drifting in parking lots w/o seeing the line.

There's no racetracks nearby? Here the closest track is about an hour away from here.
Here the consept of drifting is a bit vague, since not many people know about it. There's always some geeks trying something with old Volvos. You gotta have JDM to drift properly eh? American cars are a bit heavy for drifting(cept mustang and corvette) and there's not many decent FRs from Europe, just the BMWs.

I just went to a drift event yesterday, had some fun, there was 2 newer model mustangs drifting, I thought they did pretty good. People are starting to drift domestic cars here in the US, it's good to see something different drifting.

You should watch Tsuchiya the gt500 driver in the Best Motoring videos. that guy is the FR king. I haven't really seen a mustang drift... at least with my own eyes. At any rate it doesn't need to be JDM in order to drift.

I forgot to mention porche, which is a pretty good one at getting evil on roads.
I'm a big fan of BM so i've seen the drift king a lot, and i've been following the D1 GP now and then. Just watched the Hot Version Vol 67, which featured Tommi MΓ€kinen with the Subaru WRC. On last month's BM there was an EVO VIII on NΓΌrburgring.
They've shown quite a few times that the so called supercars aren't that super, the murcielago for example, which is quite slow considering it's high horsepower.
Personally i'd like to have an RS200 for some drifting action... but i guess i can't afford one. Anyways, i'm also a big toyota fan.....
But i guess i'll settle down with a 180 or a datsun, since here the cars cost like hell.
