I received the lineart for this piece awhile back and I've finally gotten around to finishing colour it.
He's such a hunk to paint! I tried using a different technique and brushwork. I've never really worked on oil brushes before (digital). So I hope I did the technique some justice. But I have to admit, that working on a guy as gorgeous as this: is never a burden and always a pleasure

I was hoping for a more ... living feel with texture; which is why I tried my hand at the "OILS" brush work/technique.

Ah! This came out awesome! I saw the line art on Cirgy's page and just had to see the finished product. It's always cool seeing someone's artwork colored in a different style. It sorta mixes things up a bit.
I love the textures you used, it makes him look so much more rugged than I would have expected. Rugged is sexy! Kick ass job to both of you!

Every bit of textures, the background, the jeans (i agree with *enerjak ), his skin, his blue eyes, and his painful tattoo.. yummmm! Hmm.. is my body like his?
His belt is so Queer Eye-material! Your use of different textures on different medias really makes it look very much that u've improved greatly! One day, a gallery will be dedicated to ur honor...
