Finally got these done. XD After seeing Turbo again... I had an urge to do art for it. Oh my gosh my love for this movie... It's unbelievable. The story was great, the characters were all funny and unique in their own ways, and all the work that was put behind it, just plain awesome and inspiring.

Anyways so since there isn't a lot of art to go around thought I'd do some for the Racing Crew continuing the my humanizing project for Turbo. Some of them I looked at their actors before doing colors. Others I just picked my own palettes based off how I saw them. On to notes.

Whiplash was fun to do. Plus he was voiced by one of my favorite actors, Samuel L. Jackson. Nice leather jacket and simple attire. Also little bit of a goatee. =w= cause he's awesome like dat. Our crazy snail leader. (What made you think he was sane?! XD *shot*)

Skidmark... I just love the facial expression I gave him. Looking at him on the poster he has a bit of a twitch in his eye, and he's just plain hyper. He was also one of the smaller snails as well so he's close to bean pole in size. Outfit is based around his shell colors.

Burn I had actually drawn awhile back when I did a picture of her and Chet but now I finally got a full body ref for her. Clothes are also based off her shell and she's got shades.

Smoove Move was fun. Also kept his look simple and of course based it around his shell. XD He was the tallest of the crew and was the skinniest of the snails so he's a bean pole as well. Also his jacket has built in ear buds. (The little ropes, look at them closely.)

White Shadow... WHITE SHADOW! XD hehe I love this guy, the big guy... Quite literally. His appearance is definitely based off what he looked like as a snail. Big guy and has an outfit completely based of his shell.

You might notice the little holes in their shoes. In my cross over story I'm working on with a friend those holes are designed for their hook on skates. Basically where the skates attach and all that jazz. That's about all there is to it. I'm gonna get Chet done then I'll head back on over to humanizing of Cars. Once that's done we move onto the cross over.
