I recall, Years ago!, that the sole flying F3F was destroyed in a crash.
Actually, I imagine that wiki has a good history with info on flying examples.

The F3F-2 is closely related to the Wildcat. A very interesting plane imo.

I did not know Grumman was using that fuselage this far back. You can see how this thing turned into the Wildcat, the Hellcat and then the Bearcat.
